Camp Rising Sun, based in Columbus, MS, offers a FREE camp for children who have been or are currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Since 1988, the goal of Camp Rising Sun has been to provide children with a traditional camp experience while recognizing and meeting their health needs. Camp Rising Sun is staffed 24 hours a day by medical professionals, fully trained counselors, and many local volunteers.
