Putting Camp Emergency Procedures to the Test

COCA-I Webinar May 29, 3:00 PM (EST)
On Monday July 15, 2013 around 2 PM a brush fire broke out near Idyllwild, California.

By that Tuesday about 9,000 acres were burned and mandatory evacuations were put into effect. Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, with about 170 kids and 90 staff members, was evacuated that Tuesday night.

Learn from Brian Crater, Associate Executive Director at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, what camp emergency procedures were put to the test, what they learned, and how to improve the Crisis Response Plan for your camp.

Download Brian's Presentation here.

Another great resource is the 2014 Kid's Cancer Alliance- Indian Summer Camp Emergency Management and Incident Action Plan.
